Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Trade Space LLC ("we", "us"), which operates MapPilot at getmappilot.com, collects, uses and shares information. MapPilot is a business-to-business service for companies in the United States.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: when you request a Free Map Audit or contact us, we collect your business name, city and state, trade, email address and website. If you become a customer, we also collect billing contact details and the information needed to manage your Google Business Profile (for example, photos you send us and your business hours).
- Public business information: to prepare audits and outreach, we use publicly available business information obtained through Google's official Places API, such as a business's name, rating, review count, photos count, hours and website, and published business contact details from a company's own website. We display Google data with Google attribution and keep it only as long as Google's terms allow.
- Technical information: when you submit a form, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes your IP address. We store only your country and a one-way hash of your IP address to prevent spam and abuse. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers on this site.
- Payments: payments are processed by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, acting as merchant of record. We do not receive or store full card numbers.
How we use information
- to prepare and send the audit you requested and follow up about MapPilot;
- to provide, bill for and support the service;
- to send business-to-business emails about MapPilot, which always include our postal address and a way to opt out;
- to protect the site from spam and abuse and to comply with law.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with service providers that help us run MapPilot (such as Cloudflare for hosting and email routing, our email-sending provider, Lemon Squeezy for payments, and Google when we manage a profile on your behalf), when required by law, or as part of a merger or sale of the business.
Email opt-out
Every marketing email from us includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email hello@getmappilot.com with the subject "Unsubscribe". We honor opt-outs promptly, and within 10 business days at the latest.
Retention
We keep audit requests for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. We keep customer records for as long as you are a customer and afterward as required for tax, accounting and legal purposes.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@getmappilot.com. Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws; we will respond to verifiable requests as those laws require.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
MapPilot is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
